Learn One, Do One, Teach One.

This has been my philosophy since I have graduated seminary. To take the knowledge I have gained, to use it and to pass it on to those that want to learn and serve the church. One person does not always have to do everything. As the old saying goes “there’s no I in team”. Teamwork is what makes it work. I feel it’s good to teach others and to help them. This picture explains it all. Helping a future priest to have the aer placed on his head by the bishop so that he may prepare for ordination and explaining what is going to come next. At the time of ordination the nerves are flying and there is the thought of the unknown. But there is no unknown. The Holy Spirit knows and is guiding the candidate and will always be with the priest until his very last breath. There is always someone to help someone. Mistakes are going to be made, but we all need to imitate Christ, give our fellow man a hand and pull our Peter out of the water.
