Saint Pitirim, Bishop of Perm

On this day we commemorate Saint Pitirim, Bishop of Perm.

Pitirim was the Archimandrite of Chudov monastery in the mid 15th century. Perm is a city located on he western slope of the Middle Ural Mountains on the banks of the Kama river, the largest of the tributaries of the Volga river.
